Terms & Conditions

These terms govern use of Gaines County Busted Mugshots. If you do not accept them, do not use the site or its search tools. The service may change as official sources and technical providers change.

This privately owned reference service is not affiliated with a government body, sheriff, jail, corrections department, or court. Neither it nor its advertising or search partners provides a consumer-reporting service, private investigation, or FCRA-covered service. It only identifies public-record resources relevant to Gaines County, Texas.

Nature of the service

The site is a private source-navigation resource. It does not hold official Gaines County records, confirm custody, release anyone, file paperwork, or act for a court or law-enforcement office.

Links and search connections can help a visitor reach official jail, court, corrections, and public-information-request resources, along with outside research tools. A link does not make the site responsible for a third party’s data, decision, or availability.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the service lawfully and with respect for other people’s privacy and safety.

  • Do not violate a law while using the service.
  • Do not use information to stalk, harass, threaten, or harm anyone.
  • Do not seek unauthorized access to a system, account, or record.
  • Do not use automated scraping, bots, or similar activity that interferes with access.
  • Do not disrupt the service or prevent others from using it.
  • Do not misrepresent information obtained through a linked source.

FCRA restricted uses

This site is not a consumer reporting agency as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not provide consumer reports, credit reports, or screening services, and neither the site nor its partners may be used for FCRA-covered decisions.

  • Employment, hiring, retention, or termination decisions
  • Tenant or housing screening
  • Creditworthiness or insurance-pricing decisions
  • Licensing, permits, government-benefit, or similar eligibility decisions
  • Any other purpose governed by the FCRA

Links and outside tools

The site may link to rosters, sheriff and corrections pages, court portals, legal-aid materials, federal locators, and outside search services. Those resources operate under their own terms, privacy notices, security practices, and uptime. Their inclusion is not an endorsement and does not guarantee their content.

No warranties

The service is offered “as is” and “as available.” No warranty is made that a page, contact detail, search result, or external link is complete, accurate, current, secure, uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose.

Custody status and public records can change quickly. Nothing on this site is an official statement from the Gaines County Sheriff’s Office, a jail, a court, or a government agency.

Liability limit

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Gaines County Busted Mugshots and its operators are not liable for loss or damage arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on the service or a linked resource.

Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold harmless the site, its operators, and its partners from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable legal fees arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.

Site materials

Site text, design elements, logos, graphics, and code belong to Gaines County Busted Mugshots or its content partners unless another owner is identified. They may not be copied, distributed, or modified without permission except as law allows.

Term updates

These terms may be updated at any time. The revised terms take effect when posted, and continued use after posting indicates acceptance of the updated version.

Access controls

Access to the service may be limited, suspended, or ended at any time, with or without notice, when permitted by law.

Texas law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in Texas, subject to applicable law.

Severability

If a provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. The affected provision will be adjusted only to the extent needed to make it enforceable where possible.
